PARTNERSHIPS

Purple Paws for Peace partners with domestic violence shelters, law enforcement, victim advocates, animal services, and community organizations to ensure survivors never have to choose between their own safety and the safety of their pets. Our role is simple and essential: we remove the barrier that prevents many survivors from entering shelter by providing safe, confidential, trauma‑informed care for their animals.

We partner with Domestic Violence agencies to provide confidential, trauma‑informed, survivor‑centered care. When a survivor is referred, we work with advocates and caseworkers to collect needed details, arrange safe animal transfer, and keep everyone informed. Pets receive secure housing, daily care and enrichment, emotional support, and veterinary care. Survivor and case information stays strictly confidential to protect safety plans and case continuity.

Our partnerships rely on clear communication, reliability, and shared commitment. Whether responding to a crisis, planning relocation, or strengthening emergency response, we make collaboration simple and supportive.

If your organization wants to set up referrals or explore partnership options, we’re ready to talk. Together, we can reduce barriers and keep survivors and their pets safe.
